Our mission is to inspire and equip women and teens in our community through intimate, interactive, and transformative gatherings over tea. By focusing on leadership, etiquette, meaningful connections, and personal growth, we provide the tools and confidence they need to step into their purpose and lead with impact.
Our Vision
In the near future, the Time For Tea Foundation, Inc., will become the community's “go-to” foundation, sought out by women, parents, counselors, organizations, and educational institutions seeking youth mentorship and early career development opportunities for women and young girls. We will achieve this by staying true to our core values, fostering strong community partnerships, creating mentorship pathways, and delivering unique, transformative learning experiences. Together, we will change the world one cup of tea at a time.

We started our youth etiquette program in 2018. Our mission is to impact 100+ girls annually in our community. We do this by partnering with schools and programs to develop relationships and train.

Tracey’s journey is at the heart of this mission. An Afro-Latina from Washington, D.C., with Dominican roots, she is a first-generation professional, bilingual leader, and fashion industry alum who has lived and worked internationally. Today, she continues to champion personal growth, leadership, community, and faith while also excelling in strategy and leadership as the Director of Studios for a growing fitness boutique company, serving as a Worship Leader & Creative Director in Baltimore, and cherishing time with her son, Malachi.
Time for Tea began on September 17, 2017 in Orlando Florida, when Founder Tracey Phipps hosted her first event at Eagle Creek Golf Club. Newly relocated from New York City, she was inspired by the drive and energy of Central Florida’s women and envisioned a space where they could connect, share openly, and learn from one another—over tea.

As the vision grew, Tracey recognized the importance of reaching young women early, preparing them to lead confidently and sit at tables where diversity matters. In 2020, she launched the Time for Tea Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and introduced the Time for Tea Experience—a program that has equipped over 500 girls with leadership, social, and etiquette skills in Central Florida. In 2025, the foundation proudly expanded to the Washington DC, Metropolitan area and now serves DC and Maryland.
